- Release 70
What it measures
The G.A.S. score runs from 1 to 100. Higher means more pull toward buying the next thing. It weighs what you have been buying lately against how long you have held off, how much you already own, and how much you are making with it.
Aureo works it out like a synth envelope, with four phases. Each one is scored on its own, and together they draw the shape on your card.
The four phases
- Attack
- How much you have been buying over the last month, by count and by spend.
- Decay
- How long it has been since the last thing came in. A longer cooldown helps.
- Sustain
- The size of the whole collection, and how much of it shows up in your projects.
- Release
- Whether you are finishing and sharing music, from a short monthly check-in.
The four quadrants
More gear →
- Collector
- A big archive and not much coming out of it yet.
- Maestro
- A big setup that is earning its keep. Lots owned, lots made.
- Minimalist
- A small, settled setup. Little buying, little to sort through.
- Producer
- A modest setup that gets used. Output runs ahead of the gear.

Your score is worked out inside Aureo on your own machine, from data that never leaves it. When you share a card, the link carries just the score and its four phases in the part after the #, which browsers do not send to any server. No account, no upload, nothing stored.
